Par beach for safe swimming and camping
Par Sands is a long, wide sandy beach situated around the corner from Polkerris. It can be reached by costal footpath from The Rashleigh Inn. There are sand dunes providing an ideal environment for children to play (and explore). Kite and Windsurfing are very popular and dogs are allowed all year round.
The beach provides disabled access, toilets and a cafe and there are many local shops nearby. There is a large car park with a public picnic area. There is also a mainline railway station at Par wich is only minutes from the beach.
Behind the beach there is a camping & caravan park but not even on the busiest of days does it feel crowded.
Facilities: Toilets, Car parking, pub/cafe/shop, play park. Dogs permitted all year round
